Flint Knapping Class

 

Basic flint knapping skills class

 

Class 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (Saturday or Sunday)

 

Class fee: $75.00/person. All students must sign a liability waiver before class. Fee is payable in advance when you make reservations.

 

You will be given hands-on instruction on how to make spear points, knives, arrowheads, and other stone tools that were commonly used by the Native Americans.

 

If you already have some flint knapping skills, bring some of the objects you've made and instruction will help you fine tune your skills.

Tools required: You will have to provide your own flint knapping tools. Instructor will provide the flint stone. You will be able to take home some flint to practice on.
